I got a xt20 weedeater and the line trimmer has been completely destroyed. But the motor is great! What I would like to do is put one of those replaceable plastic blade. Does anyone know where I can get one from?

They are usually sold everywhere that weedeater supplies are. Just be careful with them. I saw on the news last week where a little girl was killed by one of the blades coming off. Not sure, it could of been one with the metal blades. I think they said something about a recall.

I've had better luck with a spool of really heavy trimmer string. You can get it in up to a .135" size, and it seems to last forever, even trimming around junk piles with periodic run-ins with sheet metal. You may need to enlarge the holes in your spool, or, if you have the kind with the eyelets, get the right size.

If you mean what I think you do, check Walmart. This is the Ronco kinda thing with the hinged plastic cutters, right?
