===== ===== ===== ===== ===== ===== =

Unbeknownst to most Americans, a Danger lurks in our homes. As common as a clothespin but as deadly as a snake, many look directly at it without realizing the menace in their midst.

Yes, friends, we are talking about Full Auto Assault Tools. Studies have shown that the MAJORITY of American homes have at least ONE of these devices in them already, with more being added all the time, thanks to efforts by the Tool Lobby to promote their ownership. Power tools- in the hands of unskilled and unlicensed users- kill a tremendous number of people each year- maiming most, electrocuting the remainder. Many of the victims are children.

There are so many hazardous and dangerous tools out there that we had to split the web site up into several pages just to hold them all, and more come in every day. Hopefully, with your support, we can rid our country of the menace of unlicensed tools. Remember..."It feels good to give up a little freedom for a lot of safety."

WOW!!
I have said here in Canada that power tools would be the next thing to be licensced.
Trying to take our guns and now we have to have a licensce to operate a boat with a motor. They will fillup our jails before long as we will all be criminals. The only ones not in jail will be the politicans and everybody knows how straight they are.

Better start digging holes under your basement so you can hide them before they come and take them.

Just a funny ploy to make you laugh and get you to buy a T shirt after you laugh (the real reason for the site is marketing you know). Ill spend my T shirt money on a Farmall or JD shirt, thanks

Where does the insanity end?? You know it is bad enough now ..... I work with the Boy Scouts and their rules won't allow anyone under 18 use power tools. Saw a peice on TV stating that the health dept. around here doesn't reccommend anyone under 16 on a tractor. Kids don't learn enough as it is now and this kind of thing does not help it at all.

Well as for my kids they are 7 and 8 and they will use tools (power or not when they are ready). The older one drive the garden tractor now and both of them go to a blacksmithing class and work with red hot metal (OOOOO such a bad parent I am). They do so much with me that they will be soon using those mean nasty power tools. But they WILL KNOW HOW TO USE THEM CORRECTLY!

You know I am musically declined so I think that we should tax, regulate and license playing musical instruments since an instrument used incorrectly can cause serious hearing damage and possible loss as well as the metal pain that would be caused from such an experience.

Sorry for the long post but this kind of nuttiness just plain drives me over the edge. I would love to have the time to dream up this kind of stuff and form some "group" to support my "cause".

I think i'll start making bumper stickers, tee shirts, hats and belt buckles with "You can have my power tool when they can pry it from my cold, dead fingers"

RIGHT ON, AV80R; afraid you're forgetting the deadly knives, axes, hammers and ball bats; let's don't limit this to just power tools..... .

Don't forget Hydrogen di-oxide. It kills many in this country each year, is very corrosive, destroys billions in property. And we spend billions trying to control it, but we cannot live without it. WATER :)
I can see it now...label on bottle of water. "Warning improper use of this product can cause damage to property or loss of life."

The recipe for water is 2-Hs and 1-0 (di-hydrogen oxide)

teach the proper way to use them and keep them from untrained persons and that would be better than "giving up a little freedom for the sake of your FALSE security". we got too much regulations and licensing now.

Sounds as if this originated in Calif. If so it will certainly go farther. They actually have a bill pending in legislature to prevent farmers from hand pulling of weeds if they can be reached with a hoe. In Texas some politicians want to make gun owners outlawed claiming that anyone owning a firearm is a potential terrorist.Where is the end of all of this insanity. What is the next proposed loss of freedom.Seems lots of people in this country are so far removed from rural life that they think that peas grow in a can.

you mean to tell me that peas DON'T grow in a can? well, durn it all. i just planted a row of can peas for my winter crop and now i gotta go dig them all up. ha ha ha, just kidding, but you are right about the lack of common sense. someday the gov't might actually publish a big book for everyday rules of living to cover every possible thing we are or are not supposed to do.

Could be my friend but I tend to believe a book that size might be a little too heavy for us to own without taking out a number of permits first?
