: Which hose blew? Is the hose ID the same size? A smaller ID hose will cause restriction especially if it is the return hose. Anything else change, such as quick coupler ends, tractor, make or model, engine RPM, or is there a piece of the old hose caught somewhere? If it started doing the squealing right after you put the new hose on then there is a good chance that the new hose has a restriction in it.
I have had this happen three times now where the new hose will not work right so I put another new hose on and it works perfect. [Good luck convincing the salesperson that the hose was defective].
