I'm using a 750 Woods 3ph backhoe. It squeals when
lifting the boom with the bucket loaded. I don't remember it doing that before it blew out a line.
Everything else seems to be working fine. Should
I have bleed the hyd. system when I changed that
line? Thanks Tony

Did you refill the tank with hydraulic oil?

hyd systems self bleed after you crank the tractor
squealing is from either a line being crimped (was the new one a made hose or oem?)
or it could be that it is the overload valve bleeding pressure from overloadind the bucket

hope this helps.....

Tony,
Which hose blew? Is the hose ID the same size? A smaller ID hose will cause restriction especially if it is the return hose. Anything else change, such as quick coupler ends, tractor, make or model, engine RPM, or is there a piece of the old hose caught somewhere?

If it started doing the squealing right after you put the new hose on then there is a good chance that the new hose has a restriction in it.
I have had this happen three times now where the new hose will not work right so I put another new hose on and it works perfect. [Good luck convincing the salesperson that the hose was defective].

Thanks,
I'll check those things and report back. Can I adjust the overload valve? Thanks again, Tony
