Ted ,Go to Google ,type in "wire feed welders. Look at Loncoln,Miller and Esab, All good machines !!! hths

When I bought my Power Mig 255 two and a half years ago I was friends with the manager of our local welding supply store and since I had done some work for me he sold me the welder at his cost. I'm thinking the welder ran me about $1,450 but by the time I leased a tank and a few other things it cost me about $1,650. By buying from our dealer I got the first tank of gas free as well as a free 44# spool of .035 wire which would have been worth almost $150. Check over on Ebay, there are several places that sell them on there with free shipping but you may be sirprised how close your local dealer can come in price if they know you are shopping around.

Just an opinion.
You are gonna need a gas bottle and other consumables and usually the local welding supply is the most logical for that, so give them a try for your machine then if you have trouble they will be willing to help and you can talk face to face.Price is nice but service is more important to me.
