Depends on the size of the tractor.

End wrenches over one and a half inches are rather ineffective because of length, just can't get enough leverage to turn large fasteners. sizes larger than one and a quarter would be better turned off with a three/quarter inch drive socket, these are expensive so only the size sockets needed can be purchased. Unless you're going to do a large diesel tractor, a good half inch drive socket set with sockets up to one and one quarter inch sizes should do the work. provided you have a long breaker handle and some extensions.
