I have used Sea Foam for the last 6-7 years in the shops I have worked in. I Have used a lot of so called miracle juices, but Sea Foam is the only thing I have found that will do what the can says it will. Right now I use and sell probably 80-100 cans a year

i have used sea foam with great results on gas engines. i have poured it down the carb and it cleans the carb and intake valves that way. i put it in an H that would flood out if the throtel was full open, well i added that to the tank and drove it for a whileit was abought two miles and i had my shirt off. well when i got home i went in the bathroom and in the mirror i seen my self, i was black with carbon that had come out of the engine. i have done the same thing to a car that had been sitting for a few years. there was wood under the rear tires and the wood turned black, and there was black blottces 6-8-10 foot back from there. it is verry impressive stuff. never added to the crank case but i figure if they say it will clean that it will. the guy down the bottom here i think needs to try the stuff before speaking on how he dont think it will work.

I put some in the tank of an old forklift that I was given. This thing had been sitting with gas in it for close to 5 years, and there was no easy way to get the old stuff out. I tried starting it with absolutely no results. I had heard the Seafoam was pretty good stuff so I tried a couple of cans of it (about triple strength above recommended) along with about 2 gallons of fresh gas. The old lift fired right off and has run every since, I haven't even done had to do anything to the carb. Lucky or what I don't know, but it worked for me in this application. After this we started using in our diesel trucks. Dad's is a 97 C-6500 with a 3116 CAT that had close to 70,000 miles at the time. He said he did notice a slight increase in power after running through a tank full (about 80 gallons) that was treated. How it compares to other brands, I couldn't say, we had never used any of the others. It was just an item that our local NAPA had started handling and was pushing at the time so we thought we'd give it a try. Like I said all I can report from our use are good results.

I have seen a salesman use it in a garage, and poured it in everything. Don't think one product can do all. Everything I have read about additives is that you are wasting your money. About the only thing I use is "Dry Heat", water removal from gas. Here is a link, its for Volvos, but some good writeups.
