I just purchased an International Harvester Pony corn sheller at an auction this past weekend and am trying to find various parts for it. The corn sheller has a wooden body with the big flywheel on one side and it is missing the crank handle on the other side. Where could one find the missing handle. It looks like it should have a gear attached to it and the shaft is about 3/4 inch in diameter. Also some of the cast iron around the crank area has been broken and is missing. I've been asking around for parts or even a manual but no luck yet. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks.

Hi

I also picked up a corn sheller at an auction about a month ago. I believe mine might also be a Pony, but I cannot see the name on the side. I do find International Harvester Co. and International Corn Sheller. I have a book "150 Years of International Harvester" by C H Wendel. It shows two versions of the Pony sheller. One in a wood case and one in metal. Mine appears to have the same shaft setup as the metal version pictured, but mine has a wood body. The wood version pictured, shows two external gears, probably what you are talking about and mine does not have that. Mine also has a strange pulley on the flywheel side to drive a round belt to the blower underneath. Do you get the Gas Engine Magazine? Mine appears to have been belted up to an electric motor at one time, bypassing the bottom blower. The crank was left on. Yours was probably also belted up to a power source, therefore no crank.
