I've got one and I'm sorry I bought it. After using an Ingersol Rand I'm going to buy one. The Campbell will work but when you get a bolt that's a little tight it has trouble. I also notice when it's cold it has no power. The Ingersol doesn't even hesitate, it's off. I don't know the model your talking about but I would try it out. You can hear the difference between a good gun and a so so one.

I agree with the Ingersol-rand, I bought a campbell-hausfeld first, and have never been so disappointed, it now resides in a cupboard in the back of my shop somewhere, never to be used again. You get what you pay for.

Chris L --

CH sells a variety of different impact wrenches, and some are better than others; I have heard that CH's IR231-style 1/2 inch impact wrench is an excellent tool the rest of the line is real average. (I don't know the model number of the IR231-style wrench, nor do I know what the TL1002 looks like.)

But even if the TL1002 is a low-end wrench, I'd be surprised if you could find more wrench for less total investment unless you consider the time you'd spend hunting for a better bargain to be valueless.

I'd go for it.

John
