I just purchased a Ramsey REP 8000 winch.
The owners manual is not very easy to under stand.
Any one know how to wire the solenoid up to the motor?
It just says to attached the labeled wires to the corisponding terminals. OK, but none of these wires are labeled!!!
On the motor there or 4 connectors.

#1 a ground bolt on the bottom w/ a ground wire attached.
#2 a f1 terminal
#3 a f2 termeinal
#4 another connector right next to the F1 terminal. Looks like it is along the comintator. (sp)

On the solenod box there are 4 wires.
#1 a red battery wire.
#2 a ground wire.
#3 a short motor lead.
#4 a Little longer motor lead.

Thanks for your help guys.

I figured it out. They have the wrong solinoid with the wrong motor.
Of course I burned up the winch motor.

Yea. I put up withthat crap when I get cheap stuff. As I figure thats just par for the course.
This winch cost 700 friggin dollars!!! Thats alot of money for me. I walked up and down the isle for 3 hrs before I decided to part with the money.
Needless to say I am a little pissed about it.
