I found a short engine crank in my junk that has a lug nut socket built in on the handle end. Is this a Ford Model A type of tool or is it a genaric lug nut remover and crank.

Hard to tell I imagine.
I got a really good lug wrench at the junkyard out of a BMW car. Its shaped like an engine crank. I can put that on any lug nut and stomp on it and the lug nut comes right off. I wouldn't trade that for a hundred of the other kind.
