I own a McCullough 3516, and it runs great. I have been doing a lot of cutting lately and it seems like the lubricant oil is not getting on the chain. The engine after a short time starts smoking not from the carberator, but from the chain and were the chain connects to the saw. I have cleaned just about everthing that I can see after removing the chain and bar. I changed chains and it didn't get any better. The last change looks like the teeth are getting burn't.

Please Help.

Sounds like your auto-oiler port is clogged. I use a paperclip sometimes to clean it..
