I have an old homelite generator in pieces that i bought last weekend..It is model 2572760 115 v 21.7A-ph3...Ac 230v amp 10 cyc 180...I know nothing about generators, but would like to fix it. I called homelite people, but they can't help me with manuals, etc. cause there is no ut #...Can anyone tell me about this thing, what its used for/applications, and how to fix...It has a great running Briggs model 233431 (I think 9 HP)..any help advice appreciated...Thanks Deano..

1st you have to get the right numbers. HOMELITE Generators used some letters in their model #'s. Also get the complete B&S Model/code/Serial#. Even then it may be just a longshot of a chance as they supplied special applications to the military.
