Harris and Victor are both brand names and the most common styles of torches. Harris is owned by Lincoln Electric.

Victor is owned by Thermadyne and also goes out under the Firepower brand.

They use different style fittings for their tips, so when you go to buy replacement tips, whatever brand, they will say if they are Victor or Harris style.

Hi Scott,

As far as I know, Harris doesn't make a cutting torch nor a torch out of brass. Aluminum doesn't hold up well for torch field use.

I don't believe that anyone builds a Victor 100 size mixing body. Less hand fatique and easy control of cut lines.
