Kohler EFI 2cyl RPM

I need to confirm my 2cyl EFI 25 HP Kohler is spinning at 3600 RPM so it will prove the feed control on my chipper. I don't have a scan tool. Is there a workable alternative to an expensive electronic tool for engine RPM on this engine

Hi Sting,

Use some refective tape on one side of the pulley and use a timing light on the spark plug with an external power source.

When the light strobes the tape to where it stays still in one place then your at 1800rpm or 3600rpm.
