I have aquired a double wide trailer house that has to be moved. There are no axles under it and no hitch. There is axle hanger brackets for one axle. This trailer house is 24x50. Can you give me any idea how many axles it would take to carry the load? Thank You !

You might consider getting a house mover to move the whole thing as a single unit, that's really not all that big compared to some of the buildings I have seen moved.

You do plan to separate the halves to move it, don't you?
Check with a local mobile home mover for axle number and a bolt on or weld on hitch. These guys do it all the time and would have a good idea of what you would need for your home. They also would be able to tell you what the permit situation is for transporting the overwidth and overlength load over public highways, and whether there are licencing/property tax ramifications to your purchase. You might need to look closer for those brackets. I would guess at least two axles on each half, maybe three. Or possibly it was brought on on a bare trailer and dropped off.
