I need to know what Poulan chain may be used for a replacement and the oil/gas ratio.
Thanks in advance. Email me at [email protected] if you wish.

I don't think Poulan made any saws that used the .325 pitch chain that came on your P26. It wasn't very widely used except at Pioneer.I think Oregon still makes a .325 semi-chisel chain that will fit just fine. As for the fuel, the proper mix for all the 1074,P26 &P28 saws was 24:1. BUT..
Optimol or any of the "smokeless" Mixing oils works just dandy at 100:1 or whatever ratio they put on the label . I use Optimol in my P26 since 1985, and never foul plugs, starts easily, and doesn't goo up the carb either!!

I believe the mix was originally 16:1, though 32:1 will work these days.

The chain all depends on what you have on there. You need to get your pitch, gauge, bar length, # of sprocket teeth, and total drive links. Any chainsaw shop can make some loops for you.
