I am having trouble locating a supplier of the Duraline #D-09365 string for my Homelite ST-155 trimmer. (This is the individual pieces of string in a tube). IS there anyone here who can provide me with ordering info?

Thanks,
Larry

Homelite customer support told me you can special order it from Home Depot. Haven't tried yet. They also said any .105 string cut to length would work. The string I tried didn't work well at all.

I have the same problem. I bought my trimmer head at home depot 2 yrs ago and they no longer carry the string at the store, but I called Homelite customer support and they said I could by it through HD by ordering at the local store's service desk.

Larry, I am with you. I bought the homelite trimmer at good ol' wallyworld. Can you believe they no longer support or sell the trimmer. I have searched the net with no results, yet. If you find something out let me know.

Not familiar with your trimmer, but can't you just buy bulk string of the proper diameter (probably .065 or .080) and wind it yourself? Weedeater, etc work that way.

I've bought bulk string and cut it to the length of the duraline. It works fine, but I still get tired of replacing it so often. I'm wondering if anyone has replaced the end of the trimmer with the spool type that uses bulk line instead of these little short pieces.
