Has the saw been sitting for a while? If you find out you have fire but still dosen't seem to want to start, you might be lacking compression. Last year I took out one of my old reliable Huskys that just would not start. Everything was there, fuel, spark, air. Only missing piece of the puzzle was compression. All I did was remove the carb, and lift the cylinder off of the piston. I then removed and cleaned the ring and ring groove. Zero parts and 30 minutes later she starts and runs like new! If you don't want to tear it down you might try putting a little oil in the cyl. first and crank it over a few times. This could give you enough compression at first to get her running and work herself right. Worth a try. Good luck, Slofr8.

Saw is 3.5 cubic in [57cc] Check your e-mail, I sent you a diagram of how to check spark on that model. This is one of those time when a picture really is worth a thousand words.
