I am looking at this horse-drawn manure spreader, a Cockshutt #5, and wonder if anyone knows whether they had any special reputation, good or bad. This rig is like new, has been stored inside and not used much. I am just wondering if it a good model. Would appreciate your input. Thanks

I have a Cockshutt #5 Spreader and it has never given me any problems. It does have a steel bed which does rattle when it is empty and that can spook your horses.
