I want to put duals on my 8N, I have found spacers for a ferguson, the ferguson lugs are 9/16 and the 8N lugs are 5/8 the center discs look the same, question are the bolt hole circle the same, and can the spacers be redrilled to 5/8 thanks....Jer

Jerry,

I grew up with an 8N with daul wheels, duals

almost make a tractor out of an 8N. Lugs are near

3 inches long , threaded internaly on one end to

replace the nut one the inner wheel and threaded

externally on other end to use the nut from the

inner wheel to hold outer wheel. Body diameter is

about 1 1/8 and has 1 1/16 hex for tightening

the lug. Spacer is bored to fit neatly over the

lugs and is about 1 1/2 inches thick. I had a set

laying around the shop for the last 40 years , but

now I can't find them . We traded the 8N on a 300

case about 1959 , boy was that a step up . I'll

look out in the yard tomarrow , possibly I can

find them .

Hi Jerry,

Take a piece of construction paper and lay over the stud holes, then use a ball pene hammer to "gently" tap on the paper thats over the hole. This will cut a sharp hole that is the exact bolt patteren then fit that over the stud layout to see a match up or not. The only difference should be the bolt diameter if it's a match.

I've made alot of gaskets this way and it's accurate.
