Decided to clean up some bench space awhile back.I had grinder and 3 bench motors clogging up one bench so I built a workstation for em.I'm a tinkerer so this is liteweight stuff not Ind duty.
Also I am the ONLY user so extensuve safety measures were not taken as yet.Although"finished",it is a work in progress.
Top is 2 crossed plates of .25x8"x36" plate steel,post is 4" pipe,base is large baler flywheel,stable but movable.
Unit has 6"bench grinder,2-.25hp wire wheels(knotted and soft),and .25hp motor w/3/8 chuck for shanked tools.such as buff,cup brush,sanding disk.Top pivots if needed,by loosening single 3/4 bolt which holds top to column.All 4 units are cord switched individually and can be unplugged from (red)quad box if outlet is needed for another use.Quad box is wired to 20'12/3 cord of
which excess is stored wrapped on cleat on column.
