I bought some cutting tips for my Harris torch on Ebay. It takes a 2490 tip and in with the bunch is a VVC-1 tip. It has a removable brass insert, What is it for?

For use with LP gas. I am told that it does not make as much heat as ACT. Most of the local scrap cutters use LP.

My local Haris dealer says that the New torch kits come with a two piece tip that he cant get. If it looks like an LP tip (has square and large preheat holes) then it is and LP tip but if it looks like a regular acetaline tip with small almost round holes it is the easy clean tip that comes with a new torch. I'll bet my dealer could get them for me but he makes too much off me beeing a klutz and breaking cleaners off exc.
