Picked up a Wayne 2 stage pump pretty reasonable. It has a brass fitting at the end of the crankshaft, opposite of the drive pulley end.It appears to have a spring loaded valve inside.I presumed this might be an unloader valve to work with a check valve? Anybody have any input about this brand of pump? Parts still available? Just playing around, I belted it to a 2 hp. motor and its about all it wants just to keep it going with no load.Probably need 5-6 hp. to run it.

I have a Wayne compressor my father in law had in his bodyshop. It's one year younger than I am, and I'm 43. Great unit. I'd suggest stopping by the nearest industrial type supply place and asking about the company. Seems to me they're still around, but maybe under a different name.

I just picked up a used vertical Wayne air compressor. Do you know where I could go to get some documentation on it?

Dave I have a Wayne air compressor that I bought used 35 years ago that still works just like new. Have never had any problems with it. Have moved it across the U.S. twice. Great unit. LOL
