Without boring you with the details, I have some anchoring straps that need to be nailed in place- part of an engineered system. The nails cannot exceed 1 1/2" long. The specs call for 10D galvanized 1 /12" long. Standard 10D nails are 3" long. My plan "B" is to use standard nails and cut them to 1 1/2"- about 600 nails total. Any ideas where to get the 1 1/2" length "off the shelf"? Standard 10D is .148 diameter and this is also important. Thanks for your help. Jokes OK but I also need serious answers.

Hey Bus Driver, the nails you are looking for can be bought at any lumber supply or Home Depot. They are nails used for joist hangers or hurricane straps. Most are a Simpson product.
