See'ns as most everyone on this board is a do it yourself type, I was wondering if any one had an online or mail order source for household appliance repair parts? Clothes dryer, oven, washing machine and such. Thanks in advance.

Dont go with Johnstone,,they charge twice as much as everyone else,,I have been in the Appliance Repair buis for more years then I care to recall, We use a company out of Wisconsin called All Parts, used to be Garrons,, might do a search for either name and find them there,,I find them to be the cheapest and fastest ones,, we have used them for 30 years now,,,,Jim

I would also recommend Link as I have used them several times and they have always delivered a quality part quickly. The "PartDetective" feature seems to work pretty good and has helped me a couple of times.

Sears has an excellent on-line appliance parts store. They sell parts not only for Sears brand appliances, but for many others as well.

I recommend looking up the manufacturer's website. Most have a service and parts department. I have found that the secondary parts places are REALLY proud of their parts.

You mileage may vary.

There are a number on-line sources. Do a google or other major search engine - you'll find several, maybe one right in your area. I had a couple of parts I needed for my dishwasher, and found a number of parts sources online!
