Talking to an old garage owner the other day
he said he used to be a IH tractor dealer. Said he still had the machine to set the injectors on the diesels. I'm not familiar with diesels, but is this a useful machine and how much is it worth?

Thanks.

How about a injection timing set for Cummins Engines? I have one I haven't used for a few years. I used to be one of the few with this kit and traveled all over setting up cam box shims after someone did their own overhaul. I mainly used it on the NH series. This is a nice OTC Plastic box with all the dial indicators and factory made jigs.

Skinner we used to do the jig timing when we was setting a Cummins HP up. That's a handy set-up you have there.

danged right it's handy. Everytime you clean and reset an injector you just saved yerself at least $40

You can buy a brand new el cheapo Chinese model for around $100 without adapters from Dragon Supply.

I would imagine your neighbor has all the fuel line adapters and fittings for it so it would be worth more than the new el cheapo to me.

On the other hand the machine is obsolete now. Nobody except a tinker or part timer would want to buy it so it should be cheap.

Hi bluelite,

I'll out bid Burrhead by another $100 :) Now Burrhead don't get yourpanties in a wad, just a friendly screw over and kidding, LOL

Neat sounding piece of equipment but useful to only work on older injectors. My son worked for a local injector rebuilder 15yrs ago trying to get him to teach him how to but the guy just didn't want the hassle or the competion. He had a very expensive set-up for injector and I-pump rebuilding.

I know hat ye mean T_Bone 8^)

The pump and injector shop in nearby town does a good job and all but they charge me 30 to 40 $$ per injector and $345 minimum charge on a pump.
