I have good Quincy 2 stage compressor and 7 HP Brigs. I need some answers about how the air valves work when engine in running and tank reaches desired pressure. Are there any good supply places to buy the valves and selonoids?
Thanks in advance.

Larry, the air valves I think your talking about are called unloaders. they prevent the intake valves from opening. this way there isn't any air to compress. therefore it sets the upper pressure. typically the poppet valve that runs the unloaders is adjustable to increase/decrease the operating pressure. A good place for valves and solenoids is Graingers. they have mechanical, air actuated, and sols with different control voltages. the unloaders are typically made by the manufacturer of the compressor.
