I recently purchased some older welders and am looking for some basic information. They will be used around my small machine shop and while doing restoration work on some older off-road equipment.

The first is an MP-30E power unit with an Airco Universal II wire feeder. I managed to find an operators manual for the power unit, but am curious about others experiences with this model. The main concern with this is the Airco wire feeder, there does not seem to be any info out there on them. Are parts still available? Can operators manuals still be found? Have been checking Ebay without any success either.

The second unit is an XMT-304 CV unit for stick & TIG. So far it seems to be a really nice little power supply, sure beats all heck out of my old buzzbox. Once again, any wisdom to be gained from people experienced with this unit would be appreciated. What seems to be it's weak points, what has been the best virtue of it for you, etc....

Hi Brian,

Sorry can't help with those machine numbers. Have you checked Millers website?
