I am looking into the possibility of purchasing a big lot of Blackhawk tools from a consolidator. Hopefully a continuing supply will be available to me and I will post on E-bay or sell direct.
Please E-mail with your requirements and I will stay in touch.

Recently purchased a set of Blackhawk sockets, 1/2" drive, metric and SAE. They are well made tools and finished well....but....it is so hard to find the size on them as they have writing all the way around the backside. As you get older....this becomes a factor. Saw a recent Sears advertisement and they have a new set of sockets out that are laser marked on the side....and it is real large....no mistaking them! A good idea and hopefully it will catch on with your favorite tool manufacturer too. Theres times when in an underlighted situation where even 'ol hawkeye would appreciate this. Of course there was a time when you could just look at a socket or wrench and tell it's size. But, someone decided that their life was complicated....so why not make ours likewise. A smile for you and a curse word for them. They will probably never go back to the way it was....but....wouldn't it be nice if there was a groove cut in all metric socket ODs near the back and something similar for the end wrenches to identify them at a glance. I realize that the automotive manufacturers don't want us to work on our own vehicles and they're designed with pitfalls, uh-ohs and occasionally a stud with a metric nut on the outside and a SAE under it. (example-chevy truck bellhousing to engine.) Theres absolutely no need for it. How could this be remedied? Wouldn't it be nice if we could start a web based movement that would put an end to such a hastle for the mechanics of the nation. It is my thought that the national manufacturers can make or break a nation. Sorry....my Christmas spirit is gone. L8R....Fred OH

this is a private label name some tools are to their spec's some are purchased with their name but in most all cases they take care of the warranty. You can search out who the real manufacture is most all manufactures make some for their own brand name and do sell to others .example is Rosco screwdriver for years {a name not known by itself as well} supplied some of the best screwdrivers to most well known names at lifetime gauarantees, example "bluegrass" out of Kentucky and of course price changes is always found for the same item sometimes 400 to 500% differences.Years ago the Blackhawk name was sold to NAPA stores made by New Britain Tool works also know as Husky and more.Proto and challenger anouther brand.

Have not seen one of their vending vans for years, I used to buy them at Blankenship auto supply or Federated auto parts. All else fails, use the search engine and you will find a ton of retailers , maybe order off the web.
