I picked up a slightly used 12-inch McCulloch "Mac 110" chain saw at a yard sale Saturday. It has no owner's manual, and the owner's wife knew nothing about it. Does anyone know, or know where I could find, the correct gas/oil ratio? It's not listed on the saw. My McCulloch weed whip and McCulloch 20-inch chain saw both call for 40:1, but I want to be sure before I use that mix in the smaller saw. Thanks in advance for any help.

My son purchased a used McCulloch 16" Mac 110 2.0 C.I.D. chain saw. The model # is: 60001603 and the serial # is: 18-163701.

I am looking for an owner's manual for this saw. Does anyone have one that can be photocopied or know where I can get one?

Please email me at: [email protected]

Thanks.

I own the same saw and the manual calls for 20:1 ratio for other oils and 40:1 for the mcCulloch oil. I myself have been using a 40:1 ratio with all oils. Hope that helps you.

I'm looking for replacement parts for a
McCulloch Gas Weed Earter. I'm pretty sure they have gone out of business. But I decided to try anyway. I'm not even sure if I'm using this the right way, or not? If somebody can help me, please send me an e-mail to the email address above. The # is: SMH032UB24Ra, Non-Working # is:
1-800-423-6302, 17" Cut, Name is: Power Pro.
It is a 32CC, Another #: C094. If this is not the right place to ask this kind of question, maybe somebody will know something, and can put me in that direction. Thank you very much. Have a wonderful day. Take care.

Sincerely, Mr. Paul D. Melliff

Most of my McCulloch chain saws specify 40:1 and my weed eaters specify 32:1. So you say it's ok to use a 40:1 ratio for both? I would rather just mix one batch of either. thanks.

Just use 32:1. Gas/oi9l ratios aren't as critical as most people think. If you wanted to be extra safe, do 20:1. I would use 32:1 myself. As a bonus, you only need to mix one batch of gas.

We used to cut wood a lot of wood. Had a Jonsered
SP49, Mac 1010, several Echo saws, & Stihl.
Ran them all at 20:1. Jonsered was by far the best saw I ever seen. This was an older model w/ metal housing & parts... no plastic. The old Mac did fine as long as you didn't shut it off. Hardest thing to start after it got hot.
