Have any one heard of Kraeuter wrenches. I have a set and need to know where I can get replacements.
I believe they are German made.

I had a pair of their linemans pliers many years ago, let my boss use them once and never saw them again. If the wrenches are as good as the linemans pliers, I would like to have a set to fill my box. I haven't seen or heard of anyone selling them. Let us know if you find them and where.

vern --

The last I heard of them, back in the late 1970's or early 1980's, Kraeuter had become Dresser Hand Tool's "economy brand" wrench line.

SK was Dresser's premium brand at that time, and I'd guess that SK could probably tell you if Facom (SK's parent since the mid 1980's) bought the Kraeuter line when they bought SK or if Dresser closed the Kraeuter business.
