I just put up a nice big Steel Span building(Quanset type) for a farm shop, I did not buy the big door they wanted to sell me for way too much money. Does anyone have one of these buildings that could take and share pics of the big door. I want to make sliding doors to make full use of the 13x14' opening to get big things in and out. Even pics of the bought ones could help. THANKS.

Remember the rule for doors; bigger is better.
We fought tooth and nail to get 22 foot doors on our shop and storage buildings and then we traded combines and the new one has to sit outside when the header is on it. Overhead doors fit tighter and work better in the winter when there is ice and snow.

I put up a building like that this summer, $1800 for the each end walls was a lot pricey!!!!
We ended up framing in the two ends with 2 X 4 and Plywood...
I believe you can get the track for a door like you want at most overhead door shops.
