I've used an Elvex "Relax-FM" headset for several years - they work great! Reception is fine on diesel and most gas tractors. They do however pick up a bit ignition noise from chainsaws and my push lawnmower - probably because the ignition is pretty close to the headphones when using this kind of stuff. It's not enough to be a problem however.

The noise reduction provided by these muffs is amazing - I'm always shocked how loud running machinery seems when I take 'em off.

Hi Rod, I`ve had a pair since this spring and they work pretty well. I`m about 40 miles from the nearest station I listen too and have had no problem with reception once I figured out where to tune to. The noise reduction aspect makes them a pleasure to use, you will be surprised how much less tired you will be if you are accustomed to operating your tractor for a few hours at a time at pto speed without hearing protection and then use these. Home Depot had `em for $60 last time I was there. Russ
