I live 20 mlies north of Tecumseh in Wisconsin. I know lots ofthe people that work there. By Jan 1 2003 over 200 will be unemployed.
About 2 or 3 year ago they had a problem. Someone put plastic cups in the cylinder before he or she put the head on. People bought a new lawn mower or whatever, tried to start it and the engine would not turn.

Tecumseh also has a plant in Wisconsin.
It's at New Holstein Wi Tecumseh bought out Lauson engine company. That's how Tecumseh got into Wisconsin

I was past the Tecumseh plant in Wisconsin in 1986 when the lawn mower shop sent me to a week long seminar at Ariens. I'm from Kalamazoo MI, and it was funny to watch people from places like West Virginia trying to figure out what a snow blower was.
