Does anybody know of a good piston to use in a Super C if you bore it out to 3.5" inches. I plan to take the stroke to 5". I think a 2.8 liter V6 Chevy piston will work but I am not completely shure. Anybody have any sugestions or experience with this kind of engine building?

I may have been clear about how we planned to get it to 3.5". The shop that I talked to that does this sort of thing will bore it out and install larger sleeves. He says that it can go to 3.5" without to much trouble. If there is anyone who has built a strong pulling Super C,200,or a 230 please let me know. I would like to exchange information.

Why would it matter wet or dry when you hog it out to 3.5".

'Cause if you take 3/16 off that wet-sleeve wall, the sleeve will be too thin.

Great project! The ford 351C, 351m and 400m use a 3.50 piston maybe that'll work for you. The critical thing would be skirt to crank clearance. The 400m has a 4" stroke.

Oops. That's what happens when you stay up half the night on the internet.
