Mostly a DIY'r, see Sears has a Drill Dr. 500 for 107 bucks. Any bad comments about this unit? I dont free hand sharpen worth a hoot, but I am a tightwad.

Go the extra $20 and get the 750. 5/8 drill size and being able to make and or sharpen split point drills a big plus, stay away from the cheaper model as the wheel is not replacable by user and must be sent back to the factory. Great machines as I have never to sharpen any thing on the other types. Hardware stores in MI charge $1 per drill and thats the machine they use.

Jake,
750SPK with case and left hand chuck, $139.99 with free freight.

Used to be $129.00 without LH chuck and customer pays freight. Probably the best $130.00 I ever spent on a tool. I put a link below.

My nickels worth,

Scott

Thanks Jake. Did some research and the 107$ model was no big deal. Found same one for 109$, no tax and free shipping. The Mod 750 was only 139$, no tx and free shipping. Gonna give the 750 a try.
