Would a new S-K torque wrenche be trust worthy?

I am wanting a torque wrench and I am an S-K tool fan I really like there tools my question is this do S-K clicker torque wrenchs work well? And what are your opinions on them? Thanks. Richard.

I bought a set of 1/2" S-K sockets with the money I made on my first FFA project as a freshman in high school in 1949. We used them hard on the farm and they stood up - until some SOB stole them right out of my garage 40 years later! They got away with a 90 lb. box of tools in broad daylight.

I know what you mean about them lasting I have one very old S-K socket that I use constantly. And I always buy S-K when buying new tools. Richard.

I know S-K has good tools, but what i don't like about them is when you brake a S-K tool they will not give you a new one. They send them in and fix them while you sit without a tool.

I am well pleased with my SK 1/2" and 3/8" drive torque wrenches. About 7 years old now ( the wrenches, I'm a little further along).

Not answering your question but Ive had a craftsman for about 6-7 yrs and it cracked across the ratchet head. Of all the places that it could break you wouldnt think the head.

Take it back to Sears and they will give you a new one. SK are good tools but I have broken a lot of them. Craftsman will bend,SK, Snap- On will break. kjm

Sears said there was a 30 or 90 warranty on it so they wouldnt exchange it. I think their lifetime isnt for something that can acutually break.
