I have the K12 Model My-problem is it
wouldn't restart when it was warm, so I cleaned and set the plugs& points and
checked the key on the crank shaft and now it fires early and snaps and pulls
coard out of my hand, Would appreciate any advise as to what to do next Thanks Dons

The timing on the 2-cycle engines of that era usually would kick back like that if the point opening is not correct, they probably are too wide open, which probably makes for advanced timing. Gene Davis

Pulling the cord out of your hand means the timing is too far advanced. Get the specs, a dial gauge, timing light, and retime it.
