Roger Prosper still here? Brunner compressor question

I just picked up a couple of 1953-vintage Brunner air compressors. Stationary 20 gallon models with odd cast iron legs. One of them has the original huge Brunner single cylinder pump, the other has a newer Speedair twin. These were backup compressors from the old high school's HVAC sytem.

Anyway, can anyone tell me about Brunner? I know they made good stuff (and heavy!) and went belly-up around 1980. That's all I know. Is there still a parts supply? Also, how good is Grainer/Dayton's parts support for the older ('70s?) units?

BTW: The compressors were $25, plus I got two refrigerated air dryers and several water traps for another $40. Feelin' good... They also had a newer 60 gallon Quincy with two twin pumps for $100, but I couldn't get it home.
Thanks

Roger, can you help
I have a compressor pump and want to indentify it.
when given to me it came with a Red & Black BRUNNER box, with the origional Cylinder Valve, from the head. I have made a copy of it on the coyp machine. If I fax it to you can you identify and give me some of the deatil specifications on it.
I want to put a 1750 RPM Motor on it with an 8" shiv. The shiv on the pump is 8" also. I don't want to blow it up.my phone is 206-762-762-3800 if you want to call. Thanks

Re: Brunner Compressors
Brunner compressors were manufactured by Dunham-Bush and/or Hartford Compressors. They did not go belly up, but they stopped selling them because they were excellent compressors, lasting over 50 years (because they ran at such a low rpm. But we still have parts for them. Anyone needing them can email the request to us or call 905-470-47786 or 800-387-8059 or fax it to us at 905-470-5391 or 888-751-5637.
Thanks and may God bless you all.....ameen
