I was thinkink about getting one of those heaters and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them and if it is worth getting the thermostat controlled one or not. Also, are the flame ones better or not.

Thanks,
Bill

Bill, the infrared ones have a cleaner burn and are more efficient . a thermostat controlled one is a must . dont spend a lot of money on a vented one , our experience with those is that when it is very cold they vent well ( vent pipe hot and drafts well) but when moderately cold out they stink because the vent pipe cools down and then you get some down draft until it gets hot again. like mine alot. speed bump
