We just opened up our new Bunn coffee brewer and I followed the instructions like it said and some of the water seems to stay in the tank and I can't get it to brew a full 10 cups. any help is appriciated. Richard.

Every one else seemed to answer you questions. I just wanted to chime in about my love for the Bunn coffee maker. $45 bucks seems like a lot but I will never use any other type of coffee maker. I like having a whole pot ready in the time it takes to grab a cup. Have a guest show up unanounced? No problem, 2 min and you got a pot.
Just keep the wife away from the vinager. My wife tried to clean ours out, not remembering that there is always 10 cups of water that stays in the maker.
Took a long time to get that all out. yuc

Might try to add just enough water to finish filling the pot after it once runs through. Then after that you should be able to make a full pot as long as you make the pot at least once a day.If you dont make coffee that often, then the water will evaporate from the water it keeps hot.Hope this helps, Bill

If it's like ours, it holds a pot full in the maker for the next pot. The first time, ya fill it up twice. HTH

I filled it twice and can only get the coffee pitcher a little over half full. the rest of the water in the tank just stays there and I had both the tank heater and the warmer switch on the front turned on. Thanks for the advice I am suprised that it is this complicated. Richard.
