How about a little help from the Pros. My two inlet filters (one on each cyl) are made out of plastic, and the 1/2" nipple on each has broken off from viberation. Where can a guy get replacements made of metal. thanks Jim

Don't replace them with new ones....just go to a junkyard and get a complete air cleaner assembly from a car that had a carburator on it and plumb the two lines into it. Mount it on the wall beside the compressor....should last somewhere in the neighborhood of forever. Be sure to remember what car you got the thing from....so you can go to the auto parts store and get a new filter for it.
Those original ones look too small to begin with and you can bet your boots thats what I'll do when mine get somewhat dirtier. Another neat trick is to run a pipe thru the wall of the shop and put this assembly outside and eliminate a lot of compressor noise. Pulls in cleaner air too....but in the winter time has more moisture (and cooler air)....but you got a trap for that. L8R....Fred OH
