I am looking for a new generator - I am thinking of buying a pto unit from Northern Tool. A 13,000
watt madel is $999.99. My questions:
1) Is this a good idea to use your tractor for this purpose?
2) Would I be better off with a genset unit?
3) Are these pto units Northern sells OK?
4) Is this a good deal ( I know I will need a trailer and a pto shaft.
5) What would you prefer? Thanks for your help, you guys are great.

Allow about 2 h.p. per k.w. to get good steady power.

I don't know much about there generators, but i took a look at it. It has copper winding that's vary good.What i can see is how they can sell the 13.000 watt for $999.99 when they want $1899.00 for a 12.000 watt.

If you have a good tractor 4 or 6 cylinder they work good.
