Just bought a new Milwaukee 11 amp Super Sawzall with orbital action. Man this thing is great! I had an old swing set to cut up so that I could dispose of it. I put a blade in the Sawzall and went at it. It went through that swing set like a hot knife through butter. I was done in minutes. Milwaukee makes great tools!

Just got a new catalog from Harbor Freight and I see that their Milwaukee 1/2" Hole Hawg Angle Drill at $249.99 is being duplicated in some far off land at $99.99. Whats that saying about imitation and flattery??? Thinking about oriental power tools, I had a few Makita brand tools that I got rid of....A friend had a Makita reciprocating saw that quit reciprocating....took it apart and the main gear had some teeth stripped off of it...and it was made of die cast (read cheap junk) and now when I think of Makita....I add Budweiser after it. I got a Porter Cable that I really like, switchable between straight for metals and orbital for wood. It's a bit heavier than the Sawzall, I refer to it as "9 pounds of reciprocating he11".

The old man's got one, its a Ryobi I think and its real good.
Wife's old man has a crapsman and it stinks. The Ryobi has a variable trigger so you can start real slow and speed up as you cut. The crapsman has a dial for speed that you have to stop and change. Its really one of those features you didn't know you needed until you didn't have it, but it sure makes starting a cut alot easier.

I've had my Super (W/O orbital) for 10 years, and figgered it was unbeatable. Wife and kids got me the cordless 18V Super W/ orbital, the one that hinges in the middle, for my birthday 2 months ago. Nuthin will slow it down! Also works great for roof work and around the yard.

I still use the corded one for the real heavy stuff though.

Yes they do. I have been working with this Co. for about 9 months. Not as an employee, but working with the R and D people helping them develop some better electric impact wrenches. They seem to have the most powerful electric impacts made. I work for a co. that owns every brand made. The Mil. tool is tops now. What is really handy now is their 18 volt cordless 1/2" impact. I have 2 of them now. They have the same power as it's 120 volt cousin.

They are good saws. I got the anniversary limited edition with the chrome body and black case.
