Help!
Have a old log splitter which I believe is a "Lickity Split". Replacing fluid and filter for the system. Can not find the filter for the machine. The old filter has no name or information on it. On the back of the filter can it says: to replace with an S-28 filter. No one has any clue what this is. Am looking for any information on this or the manufacturer or dealer for this log splitter. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Have lots of logs and winter is coming soon. Thank you

You need a "Spin On Filter" Part number 2011062. You can try calling Piqua Engineering Inc. at 513-773-2464.

Located in Piqua, Ohio

How did you make out, I know this is late. The filter should only be a fine mesh screen that can be cleaned in some solvent or gas. The oil is 10w straight non detergent type. NOT HYD OIL!!! I have a manual for the single speed and two speed lickity splitters if you need more info. The manufacturer of these great machines has been gone for quite some time.

I have a Lickity Splitter which I believe needs the return spring replaced or at least looked at. Any ideas on service centers for these great splitters in the southern NJ area?
