I just got a used Coats RC 5A tire changer and FMC 6101-1 computer spin balancer for $200 each. The changer works great, but the balancer has a meter for each side that you center to find where to put the weight. One is broken. It says Modutec 920049 on one side and 921115 on the other. Snap On"s equipment service has one for $104. Any ideas on finding one cheaper? Anyone know what it's called?

Sherburne, we have a large number of the meters you are describing, Modutec 920049 on one side
& 921115 on the other side. It is a 0 to 15 volt
meter.

I have the fmc balancer like yours. I had a similar problem with the centering meter. If u look carefully at the underside of the meter itself, you may notice a small round metallic disk caught near the magnet. If u r careful, you can dis assemble the meter, and remove the disk. It should work fine after that. I am in need of the service information for mine, as I have one weight indicator that is not working correctly. Do you by chance have the book with a schematic of the pcb? I'd be happy to pay a small fee for copying and to cover shipping and handling. Thanks! Rick
