The white power wire came loose inside my skil xtra-tool 600 1/2 inch hammer drill. I can't figure out where to attach it. The switch is a capax mod 7-43. The bottom of the switch has 4 positions. 1 is for the black power in. 2 & 3 are unused. 4 has a blue wire that goes somewhere under the motor. The top of the switch has 4 positions (2 on the bottom side with locking button). These are white to the bottom brush and red to the lower wires that surround the armature. The other side has two positions, but only one black wire goes to the upper brush.

I am trying to figure out which hole to plug the white wire from the main power cord into.

Also, where can I get another switch if the wire won't stay in the correct hole. Thanks

Well, do you have a meter? If not and you still want to fix it you will need one to trouble shoot the switch. Use the ohm setting to determine which attaching points close when the trigger is pulled. If you are uncomfortable trying this take it to a repair place or discard it and get a new one. Good Luck!
