Is it just me or are you guys really such poor spellers? I was really a good speller years ago & I think people who can't spell must be --- you know - welders, or farmers, or lectricians, painters, mechanics or, .... you know people too stupid to work in an office so they gotta use their hands!

Oh yea, are Kraftsman tools any good?

Well I am a country boy but me thinks I do have common sense. If someone mis-spells a little, I know what the guy is talking about. If you no can comprende, and can't go with the flo, then you are in a W.O.S. To much useful knowledge and help is exchanged here to worry about little spelling mistakes. Some of us fellows are not as graceful with the fingers as we were 50 or 60 years ago. Do make a difference.

Greg, if you didn't have us illiterate posters, you would have no way of displaying your superior intelligence. Your lineage does put you in the superior race.

I know we are all talking about Greg Az. Yeah the guy made some comments that offended and insulted some of us. He also proved some things. He is self righteous and a fraud as his post was no work of literary art. He apparently feels that if HE cannot understand a post, it is all moot as he is probably the only one that can help. Maybe the guy is so insecure he has to bash others faults and overlook his own. Maybe he is just conceited and can convince himself he is perfect. Who knows and who cares. He has proved to me he has low intellect and allows his mouth to run before engaging his brain. Now let's all try to forget and forgive. We are here to help each other out, not analyze wack-jobs. That forum is in psychology.com.

what is it with all the english teachers these days. Don't you have your own web site to hang around instead of this one ?

I couldn't give a rats butt about peoples spelling as long as the advice they give is sound.

Learning to spell correctly was not one of the ten commandments. nor is it a measure of ones worth.

It's too bad with all those smarts, you don't have the gonads to leave your real name.

Spelling is over rated. If you are trying to get your point across and you misspell a work. Does it really matter? If the person reading it understand what you are trying to say, isn't that good enough? Why stop at spelling? The next time you are talking to someone, stop them and tell them that they pronounced a word wrong. They will think you are a a$$hole. Just like we do.

Sounds like someone is trying to stir up trouble. If you consider the office workers the only smart people, then tell me this: Why are so many of these so called SMART PEOPLE , who are locked in a cubicle 8 hrs. a day, buying hobby farms and old tractors and trucks, to fix up? Do these SMART PEOPLE admire the STUPID PEOPLE so much, they want to be like them? These farmers, welders, mechanics, etc are in their professions beacause they choose to be. That's what makes America great. We have a choice. My 2 cents

I'm an 8 hour idiot now (Engineer with the B.S. to prove all of the B.S.) fighting cubicle walls, from a long line of 16 hour geniuses (farmers). I admire and envy all of you "stupid people" who find a way to scratch a living out of the soil while negotiating your salaries with CBOT and trying to get along with mother nature. I would be the latter if the opportunity existed...

You don't get a lot of choice about leaving your IP. The board posts it automatically, in case you hadn't noticed...

I guess we just been too busy being friendly instead of learning to spell. I'm more concerned if someone has the time to set and BS a spill instead of if he can spell. As I said on the other board when someone was complaining about our spelling. My horse, my dog, nor my friends care if I can spell or not. My wife loves and feeds me and she knew I couldn't spell when she married me.

Oh, by the way, this dummy retired at 46, bought a hobby farm. My kids don't have to worry about collage and my wife wont ever have to go back to work.

It take more then spelling to make a success in life. I messure my sucess in friends, not words spell correctly.

Sorry for the rant.

That was about as good a rant as I heard in a long time. Enjoyed it and good for you.

I measure my success in how much I don't owe and how much I help others.
