any ideas on patching an air compressor leak. small pin hole on bottom. Don't have a welder. Thought of drilling and tapping and using screw with teflon tape. Would this hold? Is a compressor thick enough to drill? any ideas?

Death is a byproduct of compressed air tank repairs. Don't do it. Your tank is past its useful life.

DON'T try to repair it!!! That's a bomb waiting to go off. The moisture collecting in the tank over the years has caused it to rust. It's rusted through in one spot but the rest of the bottom is thinner, and weaker than it should be. Replacing the tank is the only safe option. Sorry to bear the bad news
