We repaired a injector pump on a 7720 (JD combine) almost 4 years ago still holds and was a damn site cheaper than the 2 grand for a rebuilt one

I've had many good repairs with J-B Weld including: cracked heads; cracked blocks; sun shaft seals (cast area of seal damaged) welded in position on AWD planetaries; J-B Weld wear sleeves on crankshaft for front seals; buildup block area for wet sleeve lower seals (much work and wouldn't do it again unless I needed to save some $ for myself, but it worked out good on IH 436 DT.); repaired IH trans. housing cracks in PS circuit behind MCV (housing has internal tube which feeds pressure and flow to PS. J-B holds good under pressure!); and many more areas. Drop me an email if you may need a few tips on using J-B Weld. I always keep some available!

Milan

I used it make up a couple of feet for a toy robot my son was building.
Just imbed an L shaped chunk of tin with a hole in it to attach to.

Fixed a severely pitted and slightly holey 8N toolbox.
Beadblasted it bright, Etched the metal with Metalprep to kill the rust, put Scotch Tape on the inside over the holes and squeegeed JB Weld into the pits and holes.
Then removed the tape, squeegeed JB Weld into the pits etc. on the other side, sanded it smooth primed and painted.
Made something quite rough into a very presentable usable durable toolbox.

Would like to know where J.B. Weld is available in LARGE quantities. We used it on a crankcase and the engine is still running after 3 years!
